The combination of Schisandra, Rosemary and St Mary’s Thistle (Milk Thistle) provides a range of compounds, including dibenzocyclooctene lignans, phenolic diterpenes (including carnosol and rosmarinic acid), other terpenes, flavonoids and flavonolignans (collectively known as silybin or silymarin). The St Mary’s Thistle component of this capsule is standardized to contain 24 mg of flavonolignans per capsule to ensure optimal strength and quality.

Used as an Adaptogen to help increase energy and resistance to stress (e.g. in case of mental and physical fatigue related to stress). Used to help ease (gastric) headaches and to help relieve digestive disturbances/dyspepsia. Used to help relieve flatulent indigestion (carminative) and as a hepatoprotectant/liver protectant.
